Want to find out about your local history? Visit Wolverhampton Archives and Local Studies’ Local History Fair its Fifth Anniversary held at Molineux Hotel Building.

Explore Wolverhampton’s past with local societies and expert historians from across the Black Country. There will also be an exciting range of family activities to take part in. Adults and children alike can enjoy historic tales from our storyteller at 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.

This year includes a focus on the First World War in commemoration of the centenary. It is also part of the Black Country Echoes Festival. Refreshments will be available throughout the day courtesy of the Friends of Wolverhampton City Archives.

Letters Home: Why not take this opportunity to see the City Archives’ exhibition Letters Home? Using letters written during the First World War the exhibition explores conscientious objectors and local reactions to the tribunals. It features a rare white feather letter.
