We are recruiting volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering – we work with many enthusiastic volunteers aged 18 and above across our culture venues; Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Bantock House, Bilston Gallery and the City Archives.
Some knowledge of art and art history is helpful but we are particularly interested in applications from those willing to develop excellent customer service skills and learn about the our exhibitions as they progress.
Volunteering with us is a great way to meet new people, get workplace experience, develop skills and get involved in the Wolverhampton arts and culture scene.
Volunteer Visitor Ambassadors:
Our volunteer Visitor Ambassadors support our Visitor Assistants, helping them to make our visitors feel welcome and find their way around the exhibition spaces and amenities. Learning about the collections/artworks on display and engaging with visitors are also part of the role.
Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of four hours per week – however we very much appreciate the time that volunteers give and are always happy to be flexible to accommodate your needs.
