- Admin History: The national Anti-Apartheid Movement was founded in 1959 with the aim of informing the people of Briatain and elsewhere about apartheid and what it meant to the people of Southern Africa as well as campaigning to bring about its demise. The Wolverhampton Anti-Apartheid Group was formed in 1988 and was formerly recognised by the national movement in January 1989. The Group disbanded in 1990.
