Still Lively is a wide-ranging partnership that helps older people to create, share and celebrate their artworks, stories and ideas.
This exhibition consists of drawings made by more than 100 people who responded to the Still Lively challenge to ‘have a go at drawing’. Large scale works feature in the show, alongside unique concertina sketchbooks that help to present the journey and progression that each participant has made. Also on display are exploratory drawings and creative writing made by participants from Shire Living centres in Stafford.
The exhibition is a showcase for the idea that anyone can draw and seeks to inspire anybody, regardless of age, to pick up a pencil and make a start.
