Call for Exhibitors – Craft & Conflict

Bilston Craft Gallery are inviting established and emerging  makers to apply to take part in our upcoming exhibition Craft & Conflict which will open in September 2014.

The exhibition forms part of WAVE’s commemorations of the First World War, and explores themes of war, conflict and peace, and the importance of remembrance today.

Call for Papers – Black Country Echoes Symposium

Wolverhampton Art Gallery is inviting academic researchers and students to submit proposals for papers to be delivered at our Black Country Echoes symposium, which will take place on 6 November 2014.

The symposium is part of the Black Country Echoes festival and explores how the Black Country’s industrial landscape inspired 19th and 20th century literature. We are inviting proposals for 45-minute papers which will contribute to this key theme.
