Nikhil Chopra works across a number of media including performance, painting and photography to reflect upon personal histories and India’s colonial past. For Shakti, existing works by the artist are displayed alongside a curated selection of objects from the Gallery’s Indian decorative arts collection. The artist has also undertaken a very special live performance over three days (28-30 November) in order to create new work - Nikhil Chopra: Space Oddity.
